Chris leads the operational activity at the Low Carbon Contracts Company readying the organisation for Hydrogen and CCUS. With a particular focus on metering, measurement, verification and certification, Chris has led the development of the requirements and securing funding for a best-in-class Commodity Certification System, and the operationalisation of certification.

The aims of these activities are to guarantee the correct payment of subsidy and assure the provenance and characteristics of a commodity from production through to usage.

As a UK Government-owned entity and arms-length body, LCCC are governed by framework documents setting out shareholder relationships and guiding principles.
