Julio de la Rosa is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience, offering thorough understanding of operating principles and strong strategic and commercial acumen. With hands-on experience, technical and commercial, working on global flagship power/energy/water and environment projects. Julio joined ACCIONA in 2016 and since then he has been responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Market and Customer Relationship activities across Middle East regarding power, water and environment projects for development, Investment, EPC and OM activities since opportunity is identify till project is finally delivered to the Client.

The main activities Mr. de la Rosa has been developing for the last 7 years are: to provide market feedback to the company regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and project pipeline update, to work under stringent targets, planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new market and motivating the business development team. In addition he provided local support to his head offices for tender preparation and submission actively participating in coordination activities with local resources and engineering firms in order to provide the most competitive and professional proposal to ACCIONA clients. As well being Board Member of most of the projects under development Julio is providing guideline and his vision for successful project delivery.

Between the main strengths he has improved along last years, it is worthy to mention to align sales strategies and solutions with senior management; to work in a corporate/business focused environment and to increase his excellent negotiation skills.

The last four years have been really successful in the region with direct involvement of Mr. De la Rosa with the signature signature of 9 remarkable projects. Summarizing it is worthy to mention the 4 SWRO under EPC model: Al Khobar-1 210.000 m3/d, Al Khobar-2 630.000 m3/d, Shuqaiq-4 400.000 m3/d and Jubail-3B 570.000 m3/d, additionally for PPP model it was secured one SWRO  named IWP Shuqaiq-3 450.000 m3/d and 3 STPs  named Madina 200.000 m3/d, Burayda 150.000 m3/d and Tabuk 90.000 m3/d where ACCIONA is Developer, EPC and OM for upcoming 25 years. Under the leadership of Mr. De la Rosa Acciona has secure 2.5 Million m3/d of desalination capacity, able to provide potable water to more than 10 Million people and 440.000 m3/d of  sewage treatment capacity.

Before joining ACCIONA, Mr. de la Rosa was working in another Spanish multinational corporation, which covers the domains of energy, telecommunications, transportation, and environment. The most remarkable achievements on his professional career has been so far: to set up the local branches for such companies; to sign among other projects SWRO Barka 40,000 m3/d,Oman,; first mega solar project in Middle East (Shams I 100 MW,Abu Dhabi, Emal Cogeneration plant 230MW,Abu Dhabi; to be selected as preferred bidder by Haya Water in Oman for WWTP Misfah of 100,000 m3/d; in general to increase the knowledge of such companies of major Middle East clients and to create a really solid commercial network upstream and downstream.
