Graduated in Chemical Engineering in 1985, she began her career in Ansaldo as process engineer of fluid systems for Nuclear Power Plants. She joined Ansaldo Energia in 1999, taking responsibility of the Procurement Marketing and of the development of the procurement digital platform. Nominated Chief Procurement Officer in 2004, in 2010 she moved to the role of Director of Project Management Department for Power Plants and New Units. In 2012 she was appointed head of Ansaldo Energia Innovation and Product Development and in 2014 CEO of ASEN, the R&D company belonging to Ansaldo Energia. In 2020 she became SVP for Innovation and Quality of Ansaldo Energia. In July 2021 Daniela Gentile was appointed CEO of Ansaldo Green Tech, the newly incorporated company of Ansaldo Energia Group dedicated to energy transition products, until November 2023 when she became CEO of Ansaldo Nucleare, the company of the Group fully dedicated to the nuclear market.
