From 1995 to 2007, Khaldoun took over different management consulting, market development and industrial operation management positions in Tunisia and France.


Khaldoun Bouacida joined BASF in 2008, where he evolved from an area sales manager out of Istanbul for the Turkish, Middle East and North African Acrylics and Dispersion Industries to the head of the North and West African French-speaking countries cluster by 2017. Alongside his extensive experience in sales and strategy, Khaldoun has cultivated expertise in energy efficiency, showcasing his adaptability to emerging industry trends and engaging with his customers towards a sustainability path. Holding an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, and an MS in Industrial Engineering from the École des Mines de Nancy, in France, he combines technical proficiency with strategic acumen especially in the emerging countries.


Khaldoun's skills extend beyond traditional realms, encompassing team coaching and commercial leadership. At BASF, he conducted seminars on marketing, value chain management and value-based selling, while fostering a multicultural business environment. Fluent in Arabic, French, English, and German, Khaldoun, a devoted family man with two children, balances his professional pursuits with a passion for exploring new cultures, languages, and enjoying his hobbies.


In 2023 Khaldoun has participate to the H2UP program under the supervision of the Renewable Academy in Berlin, He is certified Green Hydrogen Specialist: Project Development and Economics.
Khaldoun was elected Secretary General of the Moroccan Chemical Federation from 2019 to 2023 and Vice President of the German Chamber of Commerce Morocco between 2020-2023. In May 2024 he was co-opted as board member of the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK).
