Diego Santoro has more than 20 years of international experience in the nuclear sector. He joined Ansaldo Nucleare in 2003 working in the Engineering department as Radioprotection Expert and Project Engineer.

In 2010 Diego was appointed Product Manager and later became Head of the Product Management Unit. Until 2018 he led all activities related to the development of products and technologies associated with decommissioning and radioactive waste management. At the end of 2018 Diego joined GDES (GD Energy Services) where he was responsible, as Decommissioning BU Director, for the relevant business activities.

In early 2025 Diego returned to Ansaldo Nucleare as Business Development and Sales Director.
