Alejandro Gallardo Baldiviezo born in Tarija, has a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Católica Boliviana and has several postgraduate degrees in specialized areas of the sector, such as Management and Business in Oil and Natural Gas, Hydrocarbon Industry Technology and Development of Management Skills, he is a specialist in management systems, natural gas designer and other specialties in the hydrocarbon field.
He held the role of General Manager at the Bolivian Hydrocarbons Industrialization Company (EBIH) where he has been the main responsible for the execution of the NPK fertilizer plant in Santibañez, department of Cochabamba and the correct operation of the polyethylene pipes and fittings plant in El Alto, in the city of La Paz, contributing to the development of the country's industrial infrastructure achieving the objectives.
He also effectively and efficiently led the Empresa Tarijeña del Gas (EMTAGAS) as General Manager, and previously worked at the National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) fulfilling his functions outstandingly. His experience also includes consulting in the energy and hydrocarbon sector, contributing with his knowledge to the development of the sector.
