Maarten Kanters has been leading the business area that develops projects for Cambi to invest in or be involved in operations, since joining Cambi in 2017. Cambi Invest was established in 2020, with the intention to further increase Cambi’s role as an owner and/or operator of sludge treatment facilities, in connection with deploying our core THP technology. Mr. Kanters also serves as chair of the board of directors of Grønn Vekst AS, a Norwegian subsidiary of Cambi responsible for biosolids recycling and soil production.

Maarten holds a MSc from Delft University of Technology in Mechanical Engineering and a MBA from INSEAD Business School. Prior to joining Cambi, Maarten worked at McKinsey and Company
