Dr. Satish Balantrapu is a core member of Energy Transition (ET) Centre of Excellence (COE) at Infosys. His primary focus areas are Grid Modernization and Sustainable Transportation. Being the core member of ET CoE and having over 18+ years of utility experience, he is responsible for defining strategies and road maps, and implementing solutions across grid modernization and sustainable transportation. His PhD research work on ‘Artificial Intelligence based Load forecasting for Smart Grid’ is included in the syllabus of Columbia University and he published around 30 papers in International Journals and Conferences including IEEE and Elsevier. He is a reviewer for many international journals on Digital Technologies, Knowledge Management, Transmission and Distribution
