Mona BaAbbad Alkindi is currently the Local Division Marketing and Communication Manager of ABB Energy Industries, UAE, and the Communication Manager for UAE Cluster countries; Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. This division within ABB is responsible for the delivery of solutions and services that digitalize, automate, and electrify the energy industry, to ensure safer, smarter, and more sustainable use of resources across oil & gas, power, water & chemicals sectors.

Mona has diverse experience in Quality, Sales, and Marketing and Communication, and she is starting a new role as Global Digital Sales Support in ABB Germany. She has been with ABB for over 5 years.

Mona was the only female selected from UAE and one of 20 from IMEA region to be part of “Leading the Way: Process Automation Women Development” a global management and career track training under Diversity & Inclusion initiative by the D&I Board Members in ABB.

She is a Khalifa University graduate with Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. She is a Business, Technology and Engineering enthusiast, combining her technical background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and her hard and soft skills in business and effective communications. She is currently based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
