Dr. Shadi W. Hasan is a Professor of Chemical Engineering and the Director of the Center for Membranes and Advanced Water Technology (CMAT) at Khalifa University.
A globally recognized expert in water treatment, sustainability, and nanomaterials, he has led innovations in desalination, water reuse, and membrane technologies.
With over 200 journal publications, USD 16 million in research funding, and recognition among Stanford’s Top 2% Scientists since 2020, Dr. Hasan is a frequent keynote speaker at both national and international conferences
