Dr Yousif Al Hammadi is Tabreed's Chief Executive Officer. He joined Tabreed in 2014, bringing with him more than 13 years of diversified experience in the Government, Oil and Gas and Construction sectors. 

Since joining Tabreed, Dr Yousif has held senior roles across Business Development, Projects, Portfolio Management and Government Affairs. In 2022, he joined the company’s Executive Management Team as Chief Asset Management Officer before being appointed Interim CEO in January 2026. During his 12 years at Tabreed, he has been integral in the company’s most significant transactions and growth initiatives, including the acquisition of the Downtown Dubai district cooling infrastructure, the acquisition of PAL Cooling and the Palm Jebel Ali concession.

Prior to joining Tabreed, Dr Yousif was Vice President of Mubadala’s Project Management Unit, where he contributed to delivering key projects in Abu Dhabi, including Zayed University, Paris Sorbonne University, Rosewood Hotel and New York University. Earlier in his career, Dr Yousif also worked for renowned organisations such as ADNOC and the UAE’s Ministry of Interior.

Dr Yousif has an engineering background and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) and Master of Business Administration (Distinction), as well as a Doctorate in Business Administration and Management (Honors).
