Bio

Eng. Mohamed Naguib is the Regional Chief Executive Officer of Elsewedy Electric UAE & Oman, leading the company’s strategic growth, regional expansion, and delivery of large-scale energy, power, and water infrastructure across both countries. An engineer by background, he brings more than 17 years of hands-on experience in the utilities and infrastructure sector, with deep expertise spanning power generation, transmission and distribution, water systems, telecommunications, and integrated digital solutions.

He began his career with Elsewedy Electric in 2007, progressing through multiple senior leadership roles, including CEO of the Group’s system integration arm. In this role, he played a pivotal part in accelerating digital transformation, integrating advanced technologies, and strengthening operational and engineering capabilities across complex infrastructure environments.

Under his leadership, the UAE has evolved into a strategic hub for Elsewedy Electric’s regional and global expansion. He has overseen the establishment of more than 60 entities across EPC contracting, manufacturing, trading, and advanced technology solutions—driving growth, diversification, and resilience in response to the region’s surging power demand, expanding oil & gas activity, and increasing pressure on power and water networks.

Eng. Mohamed is particularly focused on modernizing critical infrastructure through digitalization and AI-enabled solutions, supporting grid resilience, efficiency, and future readiness. His leadership aligns engineering excellence with national energy priorities, sustainability agendas, and the evolving demands of high-growth economies.

He is recognized for building high-performance teams, forging strategic partnerships, and translating complex engineering challenges into scalable, future-focused solutions. Eng. Mohamed is an active member of several industry and business councils, including the CEO Club, the Egyptian Businessmen Association in Abu Dhabi, and the Egyptian–Emirati Business Council.
