With more than 20 years of global energy experience, Dr. Javier Cavada, President and CEO, EMEA, Mitsubishi Power is a globally recognized leader in the energy sector and a driving force behind Mitsubishi Power’s ambitious growth and decarbonization plans.
His extensive experience spans the energy sector, from traditional power systems to innovative renewable energy systems and storage solutions, which gives him a unique, holistic perspective of the energy industry. Combined with his on-the-ground experience with decarbonized power ecosystems, his insights are a driving force behind the creation of the resilient energy systems of the future.
Along with his current role as President and CEO of Mitsubishi Power in EMEA, he has held prominent global leadership positions within the industry as President of Energy Solutions at Wärtsilä, as well as CEO of Highview Power and several director roles of leading energy companies. In recognition of his visionary leadership, he was elected as President of EU Turbines, the leading association of turbines.
