Najeeba serves as Chief ESG & Sustainability Officer and Sustainability of Emirates Global Aluminium. She has over 20 years of experience in the aluminium industry with a focus on smelting operations. Al Jabri joined Dubai Aluminium’s (Dubal) technology development operations as a Project Engineer in 2004. In 2006, Al Jabri became the region’s first woman to serve as a Potline Operations Manager in the aluminium industry.
In 2013, Al Jabri led the production ramp-up of the longest aluminium line in the world with over 400 employees. The project was completed ahead of schedule with zero lost time injury over more than seven months.
Al Jabri also served as a Vice President of Technical Midstream where she focused on Industry 4.0 applications to improve the performance of primary aluminium production.
Al Jabri holds an Executive MBA from Hult International Business School, a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from United Arab Emirates University, a Master’s degree in Process Control from Auckland University. She was awarded a Certificate in Corporate Governance, Certificate in International Directors Programme from INSEAD and Best Environment Friendly Producer by the International Aluminium Institute In 2007.
