Dr. Gordhan Das Valasai is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Quaid-e-Awam University, Pakistan. His research focuses on energy-system modelling, hydrogen integration in power and transport, and decarbonization strategies for emerging economies. He works extensively with LEAP, TIMES, EnergyPLAN and Python-based optimisation models, with applications in national energy planning, hydrogen roadmaps, and resilience analysis. He has reviewed PhD theses, supervised final-year projects on hydrogen systems, and contributed to multiple national and international modelling studies. His work has been cited widely, and he regularly collaborates with research groups in Turkey, the GCC, Europe, and the US.
