Dr. Gordhan Das Valasai is a TÜBİTAK 2236 CoCirculation3 Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Erciyes University, Kayseri, Türkiye, where he leads the ReHIST-TR project on resilient hydrogen-integrated energy systems for Türkiye's net-zero smart cities, hosted by the Department of Energy Systems Engineering under Prof. Dr. Mustafa Serdar Genç. His research covers energy-system modelling, hydrogen integration in power and transport, and resilience analysis for power systems under supply shocks. He builds capacity-expansion and dispatch models in TIMES, LEAP, OSeMOSYS and Python-based MILP frameworks (Pyomo, Gurobi). He has published 31 peer-reviewed papers with more than 2,100 citations (h-index 16). He serves on the Technical Committee of the World Utilities Congress 2027 and co-chairs Session 28, "Unlocking Investment Opportunities in a Net-Zero Energy Market II"
