Bio

Dr. Khalid Kaddoura, is a Technical Lead – Infrastructure Asset Management at GHD with over 15 years of international experience in infrastructure asset management, utility assets condition assessment, and risk-based decision-making. He is a UESI Fellow, recipient of the 2024 ASCE-UESI Younger Member Award and the 2024 CNAM Visionary Award and serves as Chair of the ASCE UESI Executive Committee’s Utility Asset Management Division. He was also a Technical Co-Chair, Track Chair, and Moderator for ASCE Pipeline conferences since a decade and is currently an Associate Editor for the ASCE Journal of Structural Design and Construction Practices. Dr. Kaddoura holds a PhD from Concordia University, where his research focused on infrastructure asset management, condition assessment, and asset performance modelling. 

Dr. Kaddoura completed and was involved in local and global projects/proposals and namely Canada (various provinces), USA (various states), Australia, UK, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Philippines, and Hong Kong.  His expertise includes data gap analysis, infrastructure evaluation, risk management, asset management strategies, lifecycle analysis, and financial modeling. Dr. Kaddoura is also well-versed in advanced applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Infrastructure. He possesses technical proficiency in selecting and implementing field condition assessment tools for both non-pressurized and pressurized linear systems. Dr. Kaddoura is knowledgeable in best practices, adhering to ASTM, ASME, API, NACE, AWWA M77, ACI, ISO standards and many more
